Tiffany #111810 – Esthetician
Tiffany was born in Nashville, TN as the sixth of seven children. She moved to Memphis when she was a senior in high school. She married and started a family shortly after she moved here. She has three beautiful children, Kaiyla, Skylar, and Brylon.
She began to love the fashion and beauty industry as a child and her love for it only grew as the years went on. She attended cosmetology classes in Nashville and went on to attend Tennessee Academy of Cosmetology in Memphis for aesthetics. Her post-education experience was diverse and included specialization in Ancient Asian Esthetic Techniques, extensive training in skincare products, and learning about the use of organic ingredients and products. This combined experience made Champalou Spa a perfect fit for her!
Between some of her previous positions, she was able to be a stay-at-home mom, take care of her family, and homeschool her three children. She taught Children’s Sunday School at Fire and Glory Ministries. She still serves as an assistant treasurer. She enjoyed the years she was able to spend with her family, but she couldn’t wait to get back into aesthetics. She’s thankful to be at Champalou Spa where she can utilize her knowledge in skincare products and continue to be an educator to all her clients about their individual beauty needs. She’s passionate about helping people with their skin care goals and transforming their skin. She wants her clients to look and, most importantly, feel beautiful from the inside out.
Chris #200757 – Esthetician
After retiring from the police department as a dispatcher of 35 years, my husband and I moved from the south suburbs of Chicago to Memphis in the fall of 2019. After our move, I was ready for a new adventure. Esthetics was always something of interest in my life. After starting school, I knew I was in the correct field. As my passion for the industry grew, I became more aware of the importance of a healthy skin care routine and ingredients in the products we use. I am continually educating myself on advanced treatments and new protocols to be able to provide the very best experiences for my clients.
Working at Champalou Spa has been a blessing in my life. This is a place where we all come to relax and escape the stresses of life. I am in love with all of our skin care lines. The clean ingredients we use have so many benefits. This has allowed me to share my knowledge with our clients so they can continue with them at home skin- care routines. My specialties include our Facelift Facial Massage, Dermaplane Facial, and our Collagen Facials. I love to see the results from these three treatments, whether they are done alone or combined within each other. The radiance and glow you see right away is astounding.
In my free time, you will find me reading a good book, listening to music, traveling with my wonderful husband and family, watching my favorite TV shows, and most importantly raising our sweet Aussiedoodle, Theo.
Tasha #9571 – Massage Therapist
I am originally from Vallejo, Ca. My family and I moved to Memphis, TN in 1991. What a change this was. I spent my summers at my grandparents’ farm and enjoyed every moment of it. I have one brother and two sisters, six nieces and two nephews.
While in school, I was always interested in sports. I played basketball in junior high and high school. After high school I was part of the Memphis Belles, Memphis Dynasty, and the Memphis TN Legacy Women’s Football Teams for eight years. Throughout this period, I was trying to decide between being an athletic trainer, physical therapist or a massage therapist. The past eleven years have been wonderful, I couldn’t be happier that I chose to become a massage therapist. Not only do I love to help my clientele feel relaxed while easing any tension they may be experiencing, but I love educating them on how to help their muscular and skeletal systems in between massage treatments. From my own personal experience with an injury, empowering anyone to improve their daily life is the best reward. I like to say, “relax the body and you can relax the mind”.
Throughout the last eleven years, I have been trained in many modalities of massage. This ranges from Traditional Swedish, Deep Tissue, Hot Stone, Hand and Foot Reflexology to Cupping, Bamboo and Raindrop massage. It is hard to choose a favorite technique as I enjoy the variety. No treatment is like the other and they each bring their own unique benefits to the treatment room.
Valerie #8772 – Massage Therapy
I was born and raised in Memphis, TN. I greatly love this city and what our community has to offer. Memphis is full of life, music, food and so much more. While attending college at MTSU, I was enlightened that there was more that I had to offer in this world. Massage therapy had always interested me; so, carefully considering myself, I decided to pursue a different path and attended the Massage Institute of Memphis. I knew this was the perfect fit and the right decision for me.
Massage therapy has given me the ability and opportunity to educate, heal, and release physical ailments and stress in many people’s lives. I know my purpose in this world is exactly where it needs to be. I profoundly understand the connections between our skeletal and muscular structures. This is the greatest tool for a massage therapist. I love to share my knowledge with my clients and watch them grow in their understanding of their bodies.
I would not be where I am today if I did not have the support of my family. My husband and two wonderful daughters are the most important people in my life. Everything I accomplish is for them. In my spare time, you will find me behind the camera or dabbing in the arts. Photography and the creative arts are a big passion of mine. It is an outlet I did not know would bring me so much joy.
